Public Relations Committee
Background to Establishment
Based on the results of a questionnaire conducted in 2018 to commemorate the 50th anniversary, the executive committee began discussing the need to establish a public relations committee. Subsequently, in May 2020, a preparatory committee for the establishment of the Public Relations Committee was formed to clarify the activities of the committee. The basic policy and main activities of the committee, which aim to “enhance member satisfaction and gain understanding and trust from society toward the society through public relations activities,” were approved at the 2020 General Assembly of Delegates, leading to the establishment of the committee.
Main Activities
- Collecting and disseminating PR materials about the society
- Assisting the executive committee and various committees with press releases, etc.
- Responding to and recording questions about society activities and fishes
Organization
- The committee consists of a chairperson and members.
- The replacement or addition of members shall be decided by the committee and approved by the board of directors.
