ISJ meeting, Shiga, 9–12 October 2026
2026.03.13The 2026 (60th) Annual Meeting of the Ichthyological Society of Japan (ISJ) will be held at Nagahama Institute of Bio-Science and Technology and Lake Biwa Museum in Japan, from 9 to 12 October 2026. One session “How Native Fishes Utilize Lake Biwa: From the Perspective of Movescape” and two symposiums entitled “Evolution, Taxonomy, Ecology and Conservation of Bitterling Fishes (Cyprinidae, Acheilognathinae)” and “35 Years of Achievements and Future Prospects of the National Census of Rivers and Dams Environment” will be held during the meeting. This year’s meeting will be held in hybrid format.
