Important information on IPFC9 (e-mail sent on 6 June)

Dear Participants of IPFC9,

The IPFC9 will commence within three weeks. This message contains important information. Please read it carefully and respond to knt-gbm01@or.knt.co.jp  as soon as possible if you would like to use a Macintosh computer or your own PC for your presentation. The Organizing Committee is looking forward to seeing all of you in Okinawa.

Registrations at Official Hotels
The participants who are staying at the official hotels (Daiwa Roynet Hotel Naha Omoromachi, Daiwa Roynet Hotel Naha Kokusaidori, Hotel Hokke Club Naha Shintoshin, and Laguna Garden Hotel) will receive a conference bag containing a program, abstract book, name badge(s) and other materials at the front desk of your hotel.

Registrations at the Welcome Reception and Venue
Registration at the Laguna Garden Hotel will start at 4 p.m. Sunday, 23 June 2013 in the corridor outside of the Welcome Reception room. From Monday, 24 June through Thursday, 27 June, the registration desk will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. You will receive all conference materials at the registration desk.

Welcome Reception
The Welcome Reception will be held at the Laguna Garden Hotel near the conference venue from 6 p.m. Sunday, 23 June 2013. Welcome drinks will start at 5:30 p.m. Shuttle bus services to the Welcome Reception will be available to all participants free of charge only when you have responded to the questionnaire sent to you on 24 and 30 May. The buses leave from an assigned area just in front of the Hotel Hokke Club Naha Shintoshin near to Omoromachi monorail station (2 minutes by walk from the station).

Guide for Oral Presentations
1.Delivery time for each oral presentation is 15 minutes including a few minutes for questions. You are requested to submit your presentation material to staff members of the Organizing Committee in Room A3 at least 12 hours before your presentation.
2.If you would like to use a Macintosh computer or your own PC, please let us know.
3.The file name(s) of your presentation should follows the examples below:
S06_25AM1_Matsuura (=last name of first author): presentation in Session 6 in the morning before coffee break on 25 June.
S06_25AM2_Matsuura (=last name of first author): presentation in Session 6 in the morning after coffee break on 25 June.
S10_25PM2_Matsuura (=last name of first author): presentation in Session 10 in the afternoon after the coffee break on 25 June.

Guideline for Poster Presentations
Poster boards are 90 cm wide and 215 cm high. It is recommended, however, that you make your poster less than 85 cm wide and 180 cm high. It is difficult for participants to read the bottom part of very large posters. You are requested to install your poster in the morning of your presentation and remove it after the conclusion of the poster session on that day.
